LITTERS FOR 2008
If
you are looking for a well bred puppy, raised in the home from health tested parents
please register your interest early with us as bookings for our puppies usually begin
over a year in advance.
We sell puppies to show, work in all disciplines but first and foremost as pets . We have a reputation for top quality puppies with sound character and good health. If you want to show, there is no guarantee how a puppy will develop, but we will not sell any puppy for showing which we would not show ourselves nor do we sell 'show puppies' to be returned if they don't work out.
The litters below include those by our stud dogs. We are particular about where our dogs are to be used, both from the character and type of the bitch, and from the home they are to be raised in.
Please be aware that we are no longer able to dock tails as it is illegal in England. Aritaur will not be transporting our bitches to Ireland in order to whelp puppies there, dock them and return them to the UK for sale.

This is what tails on Dobes look like (if they're as nice as this one). Aritaur Unique 'Mara' owned by Dorothy Tomlinson, was the first undocked UK Dobermann to qualify for Crufts. She has an excellent character and superb conformation, and her tail is as perfect as the breed standard would expect it to be - "a continuation of the spine". Mara qualified from Judge Avril Stewart in a class of 22 at Birmingham Dobe Ch show. |

The mating took place on 6th July with Aritaur Histabraq and Xena - Animus Calva Xar at Birgits. Pups will be due on/around 7th September. Zena has been scanned with a very large litter of between 12 -14! Birgit get some rest while you can!
This is a repeat mating from the litter last year. Birgit and her daugher Cindy were so pleased with the quality and character of the pups that they chose Bracco for a repeat mating, and we were very pleased as we think highly of Xena's character.

Tess is due in season early September.
Tess is by our 'Bracco' Aritaur Histabraq SchH3 out of Knecht Metz 'Olga', who is sired by Ace vh ter Eeckhout, BOB at Crufts 2003.
We have yet to find a suitable husband for Tess, but our priorities will be good health, sound steady character and excellent breed type.

Skye has produced 10 pups on her first litter. Skye is a daughter of our Aritaur Histabraq and the litter doubles up on Aritaur Dominatrix, Top Brood Bitch of the UK Working Group 2007, and dam of the Top Dobermann 2007, and BOB Crufts 2007.
Aritaur Nominator (Falk), is producing some super puppies with the lovely bitches who have come to him; well boned but elegant with good heads and outgoing, loving characters.

Prices from most breeders for a well bred puppy is around £750
- £850 depending on health testing/pedigree and
show/work success. If you pay below £500 you should perhaps question the value of the puppy and the way in which the litter has been raised, but puppies over £1,000 are from someone just cashing in. All parents are health tested above
the basic minimum standards. Don't ask about price
without considering health and breeder back-up. You might be lucky, or you might end up with a dog like Brandy!
